GASTHAUS SPINAS TO BIVIO
27km 1543m+/1590m-
A long, low angle climb takes you deep into the Val Bever. At the Alp Suvretta, cross the bridge and continue to follow the river Beverin to the back of the valley. Climb up to the Chamanna Jenatsch and into an entirely different landscape. All the green pastures of the previous days have lead into a rocky moonscape with milky water. The climb to Fuorcla d’Agnel travels through some of the most beautiful and barren views of the tour. At 2982m, the pass is the highest point along the Via Grischuna.
The descent from the pass is steep and playful. Reaching the fork in the trail, head uphill again, to the next pass, Fuorcla digl Leget. From here, you begin the long drop through cow country into Bivio. Town is a welcome sight after this longer stage.
